The 2020 Tesla roadster is defiantly a homage to the halo car the Tesla roadster. The roadster was Tesla’s first car they produced back in 2008. The main goal of the roadster was to be a fully electric sports car that rivaled speed with other gasoline sports cars. The 2020 Roadster is nothing like the 08 roadster. This is a car that can seat four, has a range of 600 miles on a single charge, and can go 0-60 in under 1.9 seconds which is a figure that a lot of gasoline hyper cars cant even reach.
Fun Fact: Elon Musk said there will be Spacex version of the roadster that uses cold gas thrusters.
